TOP 5 DEPARTMENTAL AWARDS/DINNER IN JABU THIS YEAR

On our number five is NAPSS AWARDS. The event made this list because of their red carpet coverage. The red carpet coverage was tight and it was something many Jabu students can still remember, although the event proper was nothing to write about. They only spent all their funds on ensuring that the red carpet was superb, but notwithstanding, NAPSS AWARDS is the fifth best departmental dinner/awards this session.  

On our number four is ASA AWARDS. It was the first dinner/award in the department of architecture. The event was well organized, although boring in the beginning but with time, it went on to become one of the most memorable dinners/awards in Jabu. Our dear readers, ASA Awards are the fourth best departmental dinner/awards this session.

On our number three is NAELS AWARDS. Although the department of English is one of the smallest department in terms of population, but the packaging of the event was tight. Galaxy TV was there to cover the event. The highpoint of the event was the performance of the Amstel Malta award winning comedian “Peteru”. He almost cracked the audience ribs. Our dear readers,  NAELS Awards is the third best departmental dinner/awards this session.

On our number two is AMCOSS AWARDS. With planning of the organizers of this event, everybody would have thought the event would be the number one on our list. To be sincere, it would have be on the number one spot on this chart because of several media houses that came to witness the event and other several packaging the organizers gave to the event. But the event fell short of the pecking order because of several logistics problems like the venue, the way the programmes were arranged and other things we can’t mention here.  We still have to give kudos to the for a job well done. Our dear reader, AMCOSS Awards is the second best departmental dinner/awards this session.

Finally, our number one is NUASA AWARDS. The 6^th annual Nuasa award 2014 is our best. If we can still recollect that this same event was the best last session. Starting from the red carpet which was anchored by the very elegant Ruth, to the event proper, the event beat every other departmental dinner to our number one departmental dinner/awards this session. The event pulled the greatest crowd in the history of departmental dinners in Jabu that many students have to stand throughout the event.  Nuasa awards was really a break from the norm.
