Unilorin - REDRESS ON TRANSPORTATION AND SACHET WATER PRICE
The University of Ilorin Students' Union uses this medium to wish all better-by-far Unilorites success in the for the coming semester examinations. We enjoin you to prepare adequately for the examination and pray alongside. However, it is important to bring the following information to the notice of esteemed Unilorite:
PRICE OF SACHET WATER
As a result of increase in the cost of production of sachet water,which led to scarcity of the product .The following resolutions were made at the meeting with
Water stakeholders and other appropriate quarters:
1. Two sachet of water should be sold at #15
2. Three sachet water should be sold at #20
3. A bag of sachet water should be sold at #120.
REVERSAL OF TRANSPORTATION PRICE
As a result of scarcity of fuel across the nation there was slight change in price and modalities for transportation, it is a known fact that the availability of the petroleum product is returning back to the normal state. The following resolutions were made with transport stakeholders and unions:
1. Taxi's are expected to carry 3 at the back ,the price to Tanke remains #50 and Post office/ challenge remains #100.
2. Sienna like cabs are expected to also carry 3 at the middle row at the same price rate above.
3. Campus mini shuttles popularly known as " Korope" are to charge #40 to Tanke.
4. Keke NAPEP drivers are to charge #20 from the park to CIS
5. Keke NAPEP operators are to charge #30 to PG and Pharmacy.
6. Keke NAPEP operators are to charge #20 to Robiat Ajike hostel.
7. Keke NAPEP drivers are to charge #20 to faculty of Education.
Note: The resolutions above as regards the price and modalities of transporters take effect from Monday 15th of February ,2016. All transporters are expected to adhere strictly to the above informations.
CONGRESS.
We also use this medium to inform our esteemed members about the forthcoming rescheduled congress which is scheduled to hold at the Students' Union Building on Tuesday 16th February, 2015 by 4:00PM . Business of the day: State of the Union.
In conclusion, the Students' Union shall adopt welfare of her members as a serious and cogent matter of concern.
